The Hotel Colón has a privileged location, barely one block from the Obelisk and the Teatro Colón, one of the five largest lyric theatres in the world. After several years of remodelling, the Teatro Colón just reopened its doors in May 2010.

The hotel also is near Avenida Corrientes and the pedestrian Florida street.  Very close to the hotel, in just a few minutes? walk you can reach Plaza de Mayo, the metropolitan cathedral, Casa Rosada, the National Congress, the Buenos Aires stock exchange, the theatre and bookshop zone on Calle Corrientes, Café Tortoni, El Caminito, Galerías Pacífico, the Boca courts and La Recoleta neighbourhood.
